APANETalks will be introduced for the first time ever as a forum for discussing and learning about Asian American- and Pacific Islander-related topics.
Our first APANETalk is “5 Steps to Improving AAPI Representation in the Senior Executive Service” given by Bismarck Myrick, Director of the Office of Equal Employment Opportunity and Diversity.
The APANETalk is open to all USPTO employees.

The program will include cultural dances, lunch featuring pan-Asian cuisine, and keynote speaker Ray Chen, Deputy General Counsel for Intellectual Property Law and Solicitor, who has been nominated to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
